Please consider joining us for some or all of the Rotary District 6970 Conference.  For those of you who have not had the chance to attend any of “gatherings” of Rotarian’s, a District Conference is a great way to get a sense of what the larger organization is accomplishing on a regional and global scale.

The cost to attend all events for the weekend is $295.  Registration begins at 3:00 on Thursday, May 17th.  Our Amelia Island is hosting this event and a reasonable showing from our club would be greatly appreciated.  So please take part in some fashion to show support.

There will be a number of nationally recognized speakers presenting, as well as leadership from Rotary International, Area 34, and District 6970.

Several breakfasts, lunches, and banquet dinners are scheduled with various workshops and seminars on Friday and Saturday.

Sunday morning’s breakfast will be the “Presentation of Flags” by the Rotary Youth Exchange Students – and the handing over of the gavel from DG Brent Coates to DGE Jeanette Loftus.  There will also be a “House of Friendship” open for you to purchase all sorts of cool Rotary merchandise.

All events are available ala carte.  If you have to pick one, try to attend the Sunday breakfast – the Presentation of Flags really drive’s home Rotary International’s global commitment to peace, understanding, and improving the human condition.

See the schedule of events listed below!

Thank you –
