A QUICK NOTE FROM YOUR EDITOR:
This week coming we had Abby Bean scheduled to speak. Due to an unexpected schedule change, she is unable to be here before us.  She is being rescheduled at a later date.

However, our President Elect Antoinette Richter accepted to fill in and speak to the club on short notice.
Thank you Antoinette!

Our President Elect, Antoinette Richter

Rotarian Antoinette will be speaking before the club on her experience while at the Rotary President Leadership training she attended in Orlando a week ago.
She is a great speaker so this should be fun and interesting.  We all know what a great President she is going to be for sure!!

For all new Rotarians that don't know Antoinette as yet, here is a quick bio:

President Elect Antoinette Richter was born and raised in Miami Florida of Cuban parents.  They then moved to Atlanta. GA her senior year in high school which became a huge culture shock to her.

After High School, Antoinette went on to college and graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a secondary degree in education.

Antoinette is bilingual in English and Spanish and is presently the Retail Market Manager with Synovus Financial Corp. her on Amelia Island. Before coming to Amelia Island, she was STEM department chair (science, technology, engineering, math) for three years in the Griffin-Spalding County school system of Georgia. Even earlier, as a Wells Fargo Branch Manager for five years and managed a 15-person team staffing a financial center in our South Atlanta market area.

Antoinette has a strong desire to help others achieve their best. She is a graduate of Leadership Nassau, a member of the Leadership Nassau Steering Committee and Ambassador, Nassau County Chamber of Commerce.  Now add in President Elect for our Fernandina Beach Rotary Club……busy woman.

Married, Antoinette enjoys watching college football with her husband, outdoor recreation and being the “loud wrestling mom” for their two young boys.
