President Ron Heymann called the meeting to order- 

Dr. Page lead the club singing a patriotic song: "My Country Tis of Thee"

Recited our "Pledge of Allegiance"

We sang two other songs: "Bye, Bye Blackbird" and "God Bless our Rotary"

Followed by Rotarian Joe Hastey leading the club in prayer


Secretary, John McAfee Report:  John was absent so Vince Cavallo filled in.

In attendance were 32 Club Members (great attendance for the summer time for sure)

2 Honorary Members - Frank Ridley and Larry Myers


Visiting Rotarians: Two Sunrise Club members were Paul Hunt and Bruce Heggenstaller


Visiting Guests of the Club:  Guest of Rotarian and President Ron Heymann was his father Ron Heymann, Sr.  Guest of Rotarian Antoinette Richter were Julie Eberwein and Karen Clark.  Guest of Rotarian Jeff Zola was his wife Donna Zola. Guest of Rotarian Dana McCoy was Michelle Dawson.  Guest of the Club was Gertrude Baumgaerter (she is considering returning to the club as a Rotarian)

50/50 Jack Pot:  $100  - Dr. John McClane had the drawn ticket and drew the Jack of Diamonds.... 47 cards left.


Sergeant at Arms, Larry Melnick:

Larry provided trivia questions and appropriate incentives for the haven't won yet group. (Larry was looking at me) LOL

John Howard, Community Services Report:

Some more discussion is needed on how to best position blood mobile for maximum traffic following move of weekly meetings to Story & Song.  


John Boylan, Director of Youth Services Report:

Eero is currently visiting West Coast and will return to Finland in July.  Next incoming student expected early August.


Kris Meyer, Public Relations Report:

There will be a single story, multiple pix, sent to NL and Observer once all scholarship recipients have been photographed.


Barbara Gingher, Fundraising Report:

Slow season; meetings will resume upon President Ron's return from vacation (i.e. late July or

President Ron Heymann, Club Report:
A board meeting is to follow our meeting today for a quick vote needed.
President Ron will be attending the International Conference in Toronto, Canada starting this weekend 6/23 thru 6/27 representing our club and District 6970.  An estimated 24,000 Rotarians from more than 175 countries are expected to attend the Conference.  Safe Journey!
Off to our new meeting location, The Story & Song Book Store, beginning July 11th.  This week coming will be our last meeting at the Florida House. There will be no meeting the 4th of July.
