Recently, the Fernandina Beach Rotary Club inducted its 2016-2017 slate of officers. After the induction, incoming President Pamela Crouser spoke to the club about her goals for the coming year. Crouser said in addition to increasing the number of Paul Harris fellows in the club, she wold work to encourage each member to contribute to the Rotary Foundation. With 100 percent participation, not only could the club raise more money for Rotary's End Polio Now campaign, the club's grant funding would increase. Crouser will also focus on forging stronger relationships with other Rotary Clubs in District 6970. She noted work has already begun on the development of a new club for young professionals living and working along the A1A corridor and the creation of an Interact Club at Yulee High School. In closing, Crouser said she expected the coming year to be both fun and gratifying for all Fernandina Beach Rotary Club members.
